> Random Numbers The heart of this design idea is based around the principles and obsessions with numbers. It looks at groups of people who associate signs, symbols or other supernatural divination with accidental encounters of patterns of number. The principle component of all the devices is Geiger-counter-based random number ICs (RPG-100's) driving a series of 7-Segment displays to generate a random number pattern. Current sketches are for the Divination Table, a coffee table that acts as a large scale divination device (for greater issues or events), and the Divination Watch, for more portable and instant divination purposes.
