The idea of an unwritten narrative, a metaphysical concept, something that that is defined by it's inability to be defined. Every culture throughout time has fought to see past the edge of itself, to understand something unfamiliar and to embrace what is simply 'beyond'.
This project looks at notions of the supernatural and esoteric. Engaging with the belief systems, ideology and ritual, I have designed objects that play between the worldly duality of the physical and metaphysical, creating a collapse of one world into another.
Can a belief system open up new possiblities and functions of technology? Or can the nature of technology help support and reinforce a belief system?
